I really enjoyed taking this course this semester. I learned a lot of new and useful information that will help me be a successful leader. I would like for you all to reflect on what we have learned this semester, and tell me what lesson did you find most beneficial to you? In my opinion one of my favorite lessons was about working in groups and running effective meetings. It is really difficult when you cannot work together as a team to reach a goal, or get something done. I am interested to know what lesson stuck with you this semester.

In class we discussed what strategies to implement in order to have an effective meeting. We discussed that it is important to clarify the purpose of the meeting, choose the type of communication you will use, decide who should participate, develop a plan for the meeting, and there were several other strategies in class that we discussed. But if i were to choose two strategies that I consider to be the most effective when having a meeting it would be developing a plan and  paying attention to the process. What two strategies do you believe to be the most effective to consider when conduct a meeting.

RECAP
Personal Goal Setting & Visioning:Looking Toward the Future
I really enjoyed this lecture on goal planning, and what a proper goal consist of. It is easy for individuals to have a goal but what is a goal when you do not have a plan in place? There are short term and long term goals, and when planning your long and short term goals it is important to know what needs to be done in order to achieve this goal. I enjoyed when the professor introduced us to the SMART goal-setting. Goals should be......
S-specific
M-measurable
A-attainable
R-realistic
T- timely
Do you agree with this smart goal setting?
